Hockey Rink Project
COMPLETION DATE: OCTOBER 2018
Our rink has provided a home for championship hockey for 30 years. Now, our facilities match our game.
With the long-standing tradition of excellent hockey at Avon Old Farms, the Jennings Fairchild Ice Rink has become a major hub of campus activity. Students, faculty, and alumni pack the stands for home games and practices, creating a palpable sense of excitement.
To elevate the game day experience even further and provide top-notch player amenities, we raised funds to modernize the rink, including a renovation of the fan seating area and viewing spaces. After all, the best fans deserve the best seats in the house.
With your help, this renovation ensured that our students have the best hockey experience possible.
The hockey project embraced a goal of $4.5 million to renovate the hockey rink adjacent to the student center so our young men of Avon further enjoy the core of student activity and social interaction.
